The Bangkok municipal government decided to suspend the construction of large infrastructure for three days, such as the construction of new skyscrapers, flyovers and new subway lines, as of April 4, due to the high level of air dust pollution, foreign media reported.

On February 3, dust pollution in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, exceeded safety again, according to the national daily, quoted by the Russian satellite network. On April 4, the pollution level in most areas of Bangkok exceeded 70 μ g / m2. In recent days, dust has been concentrated in Bangkok's atmosphere because there is no strong wind to blow haze out of the city, the City Meteorological Center said.

Jindarat chayothin, a spokesman for the Bangkok municipal government, said Thursday that the city had ordered a suspension of construction of high-rise buildings and electric train routes in the Bangkok area from the 4th to the 6th to reduce air pollution in the city.

Pongsakorn kwanmuang, a spokesman for the municipal government, said that activities not directly related to buildings such as interior decoration of high-rise buildings could continue. The municipal government is coordinating with the industrial engineering department to send inspectors to factories in and around Bangkok to check whether there is excessive smoke emission
